all i do is practrice. i doubt theres anything better than that. just try to walk some thin rails. if you find it to tough then start speed walking walls and slowly get to thinner stuff. my balance isnt great but ive just strtaed trying out the thinest rails i come across. still cant cat balance tho... Sad

the way ive got better at balencing is by taking time to practice just on rail balence and also taking it nice and slowly. it worked for me.

im kinda hacked off...i remember having really good balance once and i remember doing alot of rail stuff...but unfortunatly somewhere in time i lost my balance (i think it could have been mountain boarding 2 years ago...lol) so i have been trying to increase it back up again...anyone have a good routine?

I'm not all too sure about whether this helps balance, but it certainly helps with your eye-to-foot co-ordination. This probably sounds really poofy but I would recommend getting a Dance Mat game for PS2 or wotever. I recently got mine out again, and it really helps with co-ordination, and when you get onto the harder stuff, it can help with your balance while doing complicated things.

Practise is the key for most things... especially really fundamental things like this... just keep practising challenging balancing things and after a while it will come easier... trust me ive done it...

It doesnt take a genious to figure out what to practise on trust me... just find something that looks more difficult than normal and then build up to more challenging things.

constant drilling always helps, and sometimes i find walking right on the edge of the pavement helps! try it Razz

plus with pavement walking you can do it absolutly anywhere (appart from a forest) and without looking like a prat for slipping off a rail an losing your nads. ^_^

And to add to mini mikes anti-nad losing capabilities.

You could try standing on one leg for a long while in your house. it's quite amazing that some poeple can not do this for a long period of time!

i find doing that one leg thing better when you have your eyes closed it really makes the balence of wheight in your arms right. also your sight helps a lot so if you close your not on a rail but on one leg on the crpet that also helps your mind to understand and learn the right balence of whiet for eithier arm and either side of your body.
just practice Very Happy
