Posted by Symon / Monday, August 17, 2009 (20:55:19) / (833 reads)

Hello People of the SCPK board.
For the past few days I've been playing around with a new look for SCPK.info, now it's time for your feedback and input on the future of SCPK.
If you would like your voice to be heard and have an input on what you'd most like to see and change then please feel free to comment.
I am allowing a limited time access to SCPK.info Beta test.
Here you can do what you want, should you find errors or bugs then please report to me, I can be contacted via FaceBook, email, here or on the Beta site.
At present none of the current forum data is in the new site and only part of the forums is setup for testing purpose.
So please feel free to sign up to the beta and add you contribution to help the build of a new start, look and style.
If you don't like it then please state clearly why and what you would like changed.
So without any other words to say on the matter I now present you all with. . . . . SCPK.info Beta
www.scpk.info/beta
I am looking forward to any feedback you may have.

| Be Safe |

As you may have heard in the news, a young boy failed a roof jump and has been severely injured.
I would just like to remind you that SCPK does not advocate anyone going up on rooftops. There is no need and you only lead yourself to unnecessary risk.
I hope this boy is ok.
Please train safely |

As a result of my recent hibernation from the Portsmouth parkour scene, SCPK is glad to introduce Peter Newman (Peter112) as a new co-ambassador for Portsmouth.

| SCPK's Mission Statement Reminder to ALL |
Posted by Mitch / Wednesday, January 14, 2009 (23:13:57) / (1321 reads)

To All SCPK users,
We would like to just remind you all of our mission statement here on SCPK
"Our goal is to create a place which traceurs from across the south coast can use to organise jams, find other traceurs in their area, get information on some great places to practice, and also learn more about parkour and how to do it.
We aim to promote a friendly, non-competitive and helpful atmosphere, and we already have a growing community of traceurs on our forums who are all willing to help those who wish to take up Parkour. We will also host parkour pictures and videos submitted by traceurs from across the community, an innovation we are proud of.
We are one of the few websites in the country which is based around a community, we are not a team in any way, shape or form - SCPK is by the community, for the community. This is a very important value we hold close to our hearts. Unlike other sites built primarily for a team, with a community on the side, the community IS the team, every single last one of you makes a valuble and lasting contribution to the world of parkour."
As of late this has not been the case and all this negativity has to stop. It is sending out the wrong message to the public and is not what we would like to stand for.
